Based in rural Nottinghamshire, Lubylu Personalised Knitwear was founded in 2024 by busy mum turned businesswoman, Charley.

As a mum of three, the trials of parenthood and the desire to find well-made clothing (that actually lasts!) at an affordable price is no mystery to Charley. The idea for Lubylu came during her daughter's very early childhood, when she was searching for personalised clothing and gifts for little Lucy that felt well-made, timeless, and reasonably priced. Finding very little that ticked all those boxes, she decided to create her own.

With a needle, some yarn and a clear vision...

Charley began handcrafting personalised knitwear at home. What began as a small personal project quickly grew into something so much more - pieces designed not only for her children to wear day to day, but as reminders of their childhood and the journey they'd been on as a family.

Today, Lubylu offers a carefully curated range of personalised knitwear and gifts, all designed with simplicity, quality, and practicality in mind. From baby knits and children’s clothing to thoughtful personalised gifts for new arrivals, each piece is made to order and finished with considered details that make it feel truly personal.

Every Lubylu design reflects Charley’s belief that personalised items should feel special without being overcomplicated - modern, understated, and made to last. All pieces are personalised from her home studio in Nottinghamshire, with care taken at every stage, from yarn selection to final stitch.
